COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - Clark Atlanta baseball was swept in a home doubleheader by visiting Bluefield State University; 10-2 and 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1):Bluefield State got out to a 6-0 lead after scoring three times in each of the first two innings.

Clark Atlanta scored in the home third after
Ceontae Brandon led off with a single up the middle
Malcolm Seabrooks followed with a single to right field moving Brandon to second base.
Jason Howell delivered the RBI single through the right side to end the shutout.

After BSU scored twice in the fourth, CAU scored the one in the home half of the inning.
Michael Haywood, Jr. walked to start the inning and moved to second base on a single by
Randy Rudulph. BSU hit back-to-back batters, Brandon and Seabrooks, to bring in the final Panther run of the game.

Bluefield State added a run in each of the final two innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2):Clark Atlanta trailed 5-0 heading to the home sixth inning. Seabrooks delivered the one-out double and scored on the double from
Joseph Holmes II. Haywood brought Holmes in from third on a single through the right side.

CAU had two runners on base in the seventh inning with just one out but was unable to add to the score.

THE NUMBERS:Game 1: 2 runs, 7 hits, 1 error
Game 2: 2 runs, 6 hits, 2 errors
Seabrooks and Howell tallied 2-for-4 performances in the opener.

Jezreel Moore started on the mound, tossing 6.0 innings with nine runs - six earned - allowed on 12 hits with one strikeout.
Nicolas Mitchell made the relief appearance for the final inning with one run scoring on two hits.

Holmes and Haywood went 2-for-3 in the second game.

Holmes pitched six innings with six hits surrendered and five runs - four earner - allowed. He added four strikeouts to just three walks. Mitchell made his second relief appearance of the day tossing the final inning with just one hit surrendered and no runs given up.
