ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta baseball was swept in a pair of non-conference games versus Morehouse College in a home-and-home weekend series.

HOW IT HAPPENED (SATURDAY):Clark Atlanta jumped on the scoreboard first with a run in the first inning.
Jason Howell walked with two outs and scored on an error by the Maroon Tiger defense.
Morehouse took advantage of two errors by Clark Atlanta to score twice in the fifth inning. MC added one more to the scoreboard in the ninth inning.
Trailing by two in the home ninth,
Jordan Johnson led off with a double and later scored on the RBI-single from
Ayrton Gijsbertha for the final run of the game.
Michael Haywood, Jr. delivered a 2-for-3 game while Howell was able to draw two walks from the Maroon Tiger pitching staff.
HOW IT HAPPENED (SUNDAY):Sunday had CAU score one runs in each of the second and third innings. In the second inning Johnson scored the unearned run after reaching earlier on an error and crossing the plate on another. In the third inning,
Joseph Holmes II scored on the
Malcolm Seabrooks groundout after singling to start the inning.
Morehouse scored once in the home third and three times in the fifth inning.
CAU tallied one run in the eighth inning when Seabrooks scored on the double by Johnson after leading off with a single.
Morehouse scored twice in the bottom of the inning to lead 6-3 heading to the ninth inning.
In the top of the ninth inning, Clark Atlanta scored four times for the 7-6 lead. Haywood walked with the bases loaded to score Cedrick Garrett. Johnson added two-RBI with a double scoring Seabrooks and Holmes.
Ryan Betts added an RBI-single to score
Ceontae Brandon who had entered as a pinch runner.
Morehouse rallied for two runs in the home ninth for the victory.
Seabrooks and Betts each added three-hit games while Holmes and Johnson each recorded two hits. Holmes and Seabrooks each scored twice.

Sunday: 7 runs, 12 hits, 3 errors
Jezreel Moore (0-7) pitched the complete game on Saturday with four strikeouts over nine innings with five hits leading to three runs with only one earned.
Holmes started the game Sunday on the mound, tossing seven innings with five hits leading to four runs - three earned - and striking out four. Johnson (3-2) came on in relief throwing the final 1.2 innings with five hits given up and four runs scoring - three earned - for the loss.
