ATLANTA, Ga. - With a full capacity crowd on hand, Clark Atlanta men's basketball team rallied in the second half to defeat Morehouse; 79-76. The win evens the season series, with both team claiming home victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Derek Harper tied the game 56 seconds into the opening half with a layup, 2-2.
The first half lead bounced between the two teams with each side holding a four-point advantage as the largest in the opening 20 minutes. The halftime score was 31-30 with Clark Atlanta trailing.
Harper tied the game again, 42-42, taking an assist from
Tim Sanders on the layup with 14:11 to play in the game.
Morehouse responded with a 7-0 run.
Clark Atlanta took advantage of the ensuing 15-3 run to lead by five points, 57-52, with a layup from
James Arnold on another Sanders assist.
Clark Atlanta would not trail for the remainder of the game, as the best Morehouse could do was tie the score; 66-66.
After the score was tied, the Panthers utilized a 10-2 run to build an eight-point lead. seven o the final nine points of the game were scored at the FT line and a late layup for Morehouse proved to be too little.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta shot 44.4 percent (28-for-63) from the floor. The Panthers shot 9-of-25 from 3-point range with the made nine shots setting a season-high for the team.
CAU turned 22 turnovers into 23 points and would lead the points off turnover battle; 23-8. The Panthers also held the lead in fast break scoring, 18-2.
Sanders (23) led four Panthers in double-digit scoring with his highest scoring night of the season and the third-highest this season for CAU.
Harper (20), Arnold (13), and
Lawrance Freeman (10) also scored double-digit totals. Harper has now scored 20 points in back-to-back games.
Sanders added a game-high seven assists while Harper,
David Basil, and
Damien Enoch each had a pair of steals in the game.
Freeman and Harper each tallied a team-high six rebounds.
UP NEXT:Clark Atlanta will play the final home game of the season on Feb. 15 versus Paine and the games will serve as the backdrop for Senior Night where eight Panthers from the women's and men's teams will be honored between games.
