ATLANTA, Ga. – An epic showdown between the Panthers and the Knights proved to be an intense game. The early lead changes suggested a fierce battle. The Panthers trailed for 34:37 minutes until the lead was regained late by
Sydni Davis with a jumper in the lane with just 11 seconds to play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Danielle Veney gets to the line early as she gets the start tonight and goes 1-of-2 for the opening point of the game.
Lynn goes on an 8-0 run, started by Brekiah Henderson's jumper, to end the first quarter.
Paola Vazquez (16 in the second quarter) connected from outside as she crossed over for her third 3-pointer of the game, then follows it up with another 3-pointer after a
Lauren Turner jumper allowing Lynn to extend the lead to 41-22.
Sporadic runs of eight, seven, five, and six gave the Knights a 20-point lead to go into the half.
Marissa Mandeldove explodes to the basket past two defenders as the Panthers go on a 9-0 run to force a timeout by the visiting team holding to the lead; 55-35.
Nicole Graham and Mandeldove splash back-to-back 3-pointers to keep the Panthers on the roll.
The Panthers led Lynn in scoring in the third quarter, 29-19, to cut the deficit that was 27 points down to 10; 65-55.
Turner (14 points) and Mandeldove shred the Knight defense to lead the Panthers on an 8-0 run to give the Panthers the lead with 3:14 remaining in the game for the first time since 2:40 in the first quarter; 71-70.
A come-from-behind ending in a young season gives the Panthers the second win of the season. Clark Atlanta erased a 27-point lead by Lynn.
THE NUMBERS:
Clark Atlanta held the advantage in offensive rebounds, (21-13), , fast break scoring, (20-8) points off turnover, (22-13), and an onslaught of blocks, (9-2) with
Courtney Hall recording six.
After a rough first half where the Panthers were shooting less than 30 percent, they end the game shooting 30-79 (38 %) from the floor and shoot 11-20 (55 %). The Panthers shot 4-10 (40%).
Four Panthers scored in double digits. Mandeldove (25), Hall (14), Turner (14), and Davis (12) combine for 65 of the 75 points to lead Clark Atlanta past Lynn.
Turner records the first double-double for the Panthers with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Although Mandeldove led the team in scoring with 25, it was the last-minute efforts of two Davis jumpers (12 points) to boost Clark Atlanta to a 75-73 victory over Lynn.
