ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball suffered the worst shooting night of the season, 25.9 percent, in the first home game of 2016 versus Lane. The visiting Dragons picked up the 95-58 win from inside Epps Gymnasium

HOW IT HAPPENED:Clark Atlanta gave up an opening minute layup to Lane before
Damien Enoch tied the game, 2-2, after converting a pair of FT attempts after just 1:06 had been played.
Lane College would score the next two baskets and hold the lead for the rest of the game.
With 3:23 left to play in the opening half CAU pulled within seven points, 30-23, after
James Arnold made a 3-pointer.
After the first half Clark Atlanta trailed, 39-25. The Panthers shot 7-for-34 in the first half (20.59 percent) from the floor and went 2-for-9 from behind the arc.
The second half was not kinder to the home team as Lane was able to open the lead to as much as 41 points, 89-49, with 5:54 left in the game.
Clark Atlanta struggled shooting in the second half going just 8-for-24 from the floor and 1-for-9 on 3-pointers.
THE NUMBERS:CAU went just 15-for-58 (25.9 percent) for the game. The Panthers were able to go 25-for-39 (64.1 percent) from the FT line.
Derek Harper scored a team-high 14 points off the bench. Harper has reached double-digits three times this seasons and in back-to-back games.
Enoch pulled down seven rebounds for the team-high.
Darreontae Moore added six rebounds.
Clark Atlanta converted 17 Lane turnovers into 11 points.
The Panthers bench added 36 points while CAU scored 18 points in the paint for the game.
