HOW IT HAPPENED:- Clark Atlanta fell behind 14-0 as Fort Valley scored on a rushing touchdown and an interception returned for seven points by the mid-point of the second quarter.

- Matthew Vincent found Darryl Minor for the 23-yard scoring pass with 57 second prior to halftime. The kick from Patrice Lousssant was good, 14-7.

- Vincent added another scoring pass, this time to Travius Blair from 10 yards with 7:43 in the third quarter. The PAT was missed and CAU trailed, 14-13.

- FVSU ran off 21 unanswered points to end the scoring.
THE NUMBERS:- Clark Atlanta claimed the advantage in first downs, 16-13, to win the battle in consecutive weeks. The Panthers picked up 10 first downs via the passing game.

- CAU went 24-of-44 in the passing game for 252 yards. FVSU went 11-of-17 for 168 yards. This is the first game where the Panther offense has gained more yards than the opposition in the air.

- The 168 passing yards allowed is the fewest the Panthers defense has surrendered in 2015.

- The game featured 28 penalties for 266 yards.

- Vincent set season-bests in pass attempts (43), completions (24), yards (252), and touchdowns (two).

- Vincent-to-Minor connected on back-to-back plays for cover 33 yards in the second quarter. The receptions were the first for Minor in his first game action of the season.

- Brenton Martin had the best receiving day on the young season with six receptions for 62 yards.

- Jorden Paige created havoc from his defensive end position with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles-for-loss.

- Clark Atlanta won the time of possession battle, 31:08-28:52.

UP NEXT:- The Panthers will hit the road to visit No. 2 West Georgia on Sept. 26 from Carrollton, Ga. The Wolves (3-0) picked up the third win of the season as the Wolves defeated Fayetteville State, 57-27. West Georgia is part of the Gulf South Conference four teams in the AFCA Top 11.
