Milledgevile, Ga.--The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Georgia College Saturday after an 8-1 victory of Point University Thursday.
Clark Atlanta (10-11overall) managed only 10 games while losing all singles matches in straight sets to Georgia College. In Thursday's action, CAU freshman D'Andrea Galloway did not drop a game in her 6-0, 6-0 straight set singles victory from the No.5 position while Avern Gumbs and Khadija Elder topped their opponents 6-1 and 6-0 in the No. 4 and No. 6 position, respectively. Sophomore Tori Pradier and junior Vonnick Boyogueno both finished with 6-2,6-2 wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
With the split on the week, the Lady Panthers are winners of seven of their last ten matches and will culminate the regular season with a HOME match against Georgia Southwestern University Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m. All CAU HOME tennis matches are played at the CAU courts.
