ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta Volleyball rallied to take the second and third sets after losing an extra-point first set before dropping the final two to visiting Albany State. The loss drops the Panthers to 4-2 in five set matches in 2015.

HOW IT HAPPENED:SET 1 | Clark Atlanta outhit Albany State, .179-.171, but errors cost the Panthers the set. The visitors won the set, 26-24.
SET 2 | Clark Atlanta again won the battle in hitting percentage, .225-.180, on the way to the 32-30 set victory in the longest set of the match. CAU opened with a 12-4 lead but saw ASU storm back and take the advantage, 21-20. CAU was the first to 25 points, 25-24, but the teams traded back-and-forth until a kill from
Sierra Scoggins gave the Panthers the 31-30 lead. Scoggins would serve and an error by Albany State gave the set to the home team.
SET 3 | CAU had the highest hitting percentage of the night in the third set, .429, while holding the visiting team to .000. A quick 8-3 lead was opened up to 15-7 before ASU would score 3-of-4 points to make the score 16-10. Clark Atlanta would score the next four points before closing the set with a 3-0 run to claim the set.
SET 4-5 | CAU would register the worst hitting percentages of the night, -.031 and -.333, in the final two sets as ASU would win the final sets for the match victory.
THE NUMBERS:Both teams hit .143 for the match.
Albany State held the 56-53 advantage in kills, and 49-47 advantage in assists.
Clark Atlanta registered 10 blocks in the match.
Cori Smith had a match-high 22 kills while also chipping in with 11 digs.
Kiara Govan added 35 assists, her sixth-consecutive double-digit assist night.
Scoggins tallied 12 kills and three aces.
Briana Aldridge had a team-high 14 assists.
Brittany Warren-Dancy set a career-high with 10 kills in just her third start of the season.
