Briana Aldridge and
Cori Smith, out with one last home win from Epps Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:SET 1 | Despite being outhit, .100-.077, CAU was able to capitalize on 6-1 run mid-set. After fighting back to tie the set, 19-19, Clark Atlanta core six of the final nine points to claim the set.
SET 2 | Clark Atlanta was again outhit, .138-.083, but was able to manage the set victory in additional points. Paine held the early 4-2 advantage before a Clark Atlanta run gave the home team a 10-5 lead. Runs by both teams before a late flurry of back-and-forth points had the match tied 23-23. Paine would go up by one point, 24-23, before CAU scored the final three points with a pair of kills by
Cori Smith on the bookends.
SET 3 | Clark Atlanta had the match-high hitting percentage, .281, to decidedly win the final set and sweep the match. CAU went up 7-1 and scored three-consecutive for a 10-3 advantage early. The panthers scored 15 of the final 24 points to win the match.
THE NUMBERS:The victory give Clark Atlanta a 5-4 mark at home.

Cori Smith surpassed 1,000 career kills on her Senior Night.
CAU outhit Paine thanks to the high percentage in the third set, .149-.083.
The Panthers claimed the advantage in kills, 36-25, aces, 12-2, blocks, 6-4, and assists, 34-22.
Smith topped the match in kills, 19, and aces, five, and held the team-high with seven digs.
Briana Aldridge tallied five digs and one assist in her final home match.
Kiara Govan recorded a match-high 28 assists.
