AUGUSTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta volleyball have now had a pair of three-game losing streak this season after dropping the road match at Paine, 3-1. CAU has now lost 6-of-7 but still hold a 9-5 mark in SIAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:SET 1 | This is the only set that Clark Atlanta was able to win, 25-18. CAU outhit the home team, .324-.000, with the Panthers posting the best hitting percentage of the match.
SET 2-4 | The home team rallied to win the next three sets, including the fourth set in extended play 30-28. CAU held the quick 7-2 lead before a Paine timeout. Paine was able to rally to tie the game, 12-12, before a Clark Atlanta 5-0 run ran the CAU lead to 19-15. The scoring went back-and-forth before PC was finally able to score the final two match points.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta held the advantage in kills, 54-35, blocks, 13-9, assists, 49-33, and digs, 56-45.
The hitting percentage for the match was even with CAU holding a one-point advantage, .112-.111.
Sierra Scoggins posted game-highs in kills (18) and blocks (eight).
Kiara Govan had 40 assists for a game-high with also a team-best two aces.
UP NEXT:The Panthers will play twice next week at home with Albany State (Nov. 3) and Paine (Nov. 5) visiting Epps Gymnasium. The season will conclude the following week with two road matches.
