ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta celebrated the 2015 Senior class pregame and enjoyed the festivities of Homecoming at halftime, but lost the final home game of the season to Albany State, 26-14.
Jaha McCray continued his current productive ways with 59 yards rushing and 47 receiving yards on 22 touches.

Streak: Clark Atlanta has now lost 14 in-a-row to the in-state rival, and 18-of-the-last-20. The last victory for CAU in the series was in 2001. Overall, the Panthers trail in the series 38-6.
HOW IT HAPPENED:Albany State jumped out to a 10-0 lead after 44 seconds into the second quarter.
Clark Atlanta broke-up the shutout bid when
Matthew Vincent found
Brenton Martin for 58 yards capping a five play-75 yard drive. The PAT made the score 10-7 with 11:59 left in the opening half.
Albany State responded with a TD from Jarvis Small with 1:51 left prior to the intermission, with the PAT pushing the lead back to ten points, 17-7 at the break.
McCray scored on a five yards out for the first score of the third quarter. The seven points pulled CAU within three points, 17-14, after an 11 play drive covering 70 yards over 5:08.
ASU was unable to score points in the third quarter offensively, but a blocked CAU punt that went out the end zone for a safety put two more points on the board, 19-14, with 4:52 to play in the third quarter.
Small capped a 17 play drive that covered 80 yards in 8:06 for the final points of the game with 2:24 left in the game, 26-14.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta held the advantage in first downs, 21-12; picking 13 passing, seven rushing, and one via penalty against the Golden Rams.
Clark Atlanta outgained Albany State in the air, 287-150.
Matthew Vincent was 25-for-35 for 278 yards with one score and one interception. The 25 completions marks a new single-game high for Vincent in 2015, having previously completed 24 passes against Fort Valley State.
Total offense, 366-255, favored Clark Atlanta. CAU maintained the advantage in time of possession for the third-consecutive game and seventh time this season, 33:10-26:50.
Martin hauled in six passes for the team-high 78 yards, including the 58 yard score.
Darryl Minor had five receptions for 68 yards and
Davonte Webster pulled in three passes for 47 yards.
Joshua Tate,
Jaquatin Victrum, and
Deshawn Oliver each made six tackles in the game. Oliver added one stop behind the line of scrimmage and Tate recorded one pass breakup.
Antonio Mallard (three tackles) and
Ryan Reese (two tackles) joined Oliver with stops in the backfield of ASU.
Mallard and Reese each notched sacks of the Golden Ram quarterback. While fellow linemen
Jorden Paige recorded three hurries of the passer.
