Panthers Slide to Fourth Consecutive Loss

Box Score Atlanta, Ga.---Clark Atlanta University men's basketball team stumbled to its fourth consecutive loss after falling 82-69 to Lemoyne-Owen College at Epps Gymnasium Saturday. The Panthers (1-7, SIAC 0-1) trailed 41-36 at the half while shooting only 30 percent (10-of-33) from the floor in the first period. Lemoyne-Owen opened the second half on a 7-1 run and extended its lead to 12 with 15:00 minutes remaining and never relinquished the lead. Clark Atlanta struggled offensively as a team while hitting 23-of-73 (32 percent) from the field and 5-of-29 (17 percent) from behind the arc. Najee Whitehead led all scorers with 22 points followed by Kenneth Green and Damien Enoch who both chipped in 11. 

Next, the Panthers will host Stillman College Monday, Jan. 5, @ 8 p.m., in Epps Gymnasium.
