Box Score Atlanta, Ga. --- An 18-5 run over the final 7:27 of the game gave Spring Hill all the room they would need to knock off the Clark Atlanta University Panthers on Saturday night, winning 81-63. The Panthers were led by Najee Whitehead with 19 points and five steals. The Spring Hill Badgers were led by James Clarke, who had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The Panthers (3-11, 2-5 SIAC) trailed by 12 at halftime, but were able to bring that deficit down to just one point at the 15 minute mark of the second half. The Panthers kept it within striking distance over the next eight minutes, but were never able to gain the lead. The Panther's only time leading came in the first six minutes of the game.

The Panthers next contest will be on the road against Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) foe, Clafin University, on Thursday, January 22nd. The Panthers will return home to Epps Gymnasium on Monday, January 26th, as they take on Paine College.
