Atlanta, Ga.---The Clark Atlanta University women's tennis team received the No. 2 seed in the 2013 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) championship tournament that is slated to begin Thursday, April 11, at the McGhee Tennis Center in Atlanta.

Again this year, the first day of the tournament will be played at McGhee (located at 820 Beecher Court SW Atlanta, Georgia 30311)  while Friday, April 12th and the championship match Saturday, April 13th will be played at Morehouse College.

The Lady Panthers (13-7, SIAC 9-1) will look to reclaim their title crown from two years ago as they face No. 7 LeMoyne Owen College in a first round match of the single elimination tournament Thursday at 11 a.m. CAU's only conference loss was to top seed Stillman College earlier in the season. With a win, the Lady Panthers will take on the winner of the No.3 Benedict College and No. 6 Albany State University match-up in the semi-finals Friday, April 12th, at 12 p.m., at Morehouse.
