Atlanta, Ga.---The second-seeded Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University cruised to a 5-0 win over No. 7 LeMoyne-Owen in the first round of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Women's Tennis Championship Tournament at the McGhee Tennis Center Thursday.

The Lady Panthers picked up two wins by forfeit while topping the Lady Magicians 8-3 and 8-0 in doubles play and straight sets in the No. 6 singles position.
 
With the win, CAU (14-9) advanced to the semi-final round to the play the winner of No. 3 Benedict College and No. 6 Albany State University Friday, April 12, at 12 p.m., at Morehouse College.
