Box Score Milledgeville, Ga - --The Clark Atlanta Panthers dropped its season opener on the road to Georgia College and State University 95-82 Monday. Despite an aggressive attempt for a victory senior forward Dwayne Bingham helped the Panthers stay in the game with a game-high 21 rebounds and 14 points, followed by senior guard Jarrel Joye who added 13 points along with three others in double-digits Derek Harper (13), Kenneth Green (12), and James Arnold (10). CAU's bench contributed 39 points compared to 24 by Georgia College.

The Panthers will be looking to turn things around in their season opener Friday Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m., in Epps Gymnasium as they take on Hawks of Shorter University.
