Rome, Ga.--The Clark Atlanta University women's cross country team finished 12th in their season opener at the Suwanee/Berry College 6K Cross Country Invitational in Rome, Georiga, Saturday. As a team, the Lady Panthers' 12th place finish was out of a field of 14 schools. Junior Markeisha Woodson led CAU with a time of 28:05.43 followed by freshmen runners Sanley Richemond (30:57.27 and Bronze Adams (32:30.97). The Lady Panthers will travel to the University of Alabama-Huntsville for their next competition Saturday, Sept. 8th.
