Lott's Three-Run Homer Lifts CAU

Atlanta, Ga.--Derrick Lott's three-run blast helped Clark Atlanta baseball to its third win of the season in the final game of a weekend series over non-divisional conference opponent LeMoyne-Owen at Bill Evans Field Sunday. After losing the first two games 7-5 and 10-13, the Panthers went on a hitting frenzy in their 19-15 victory.

Along with Lott's homerun, he finished with four RBIs, and scored three runs including 4-for-5 from the plate. First baseman Kelvin Tanner and catcher Joesph Furr also added four RBIs while Furr scored three runs and hit two doubles. Manuel Gaper picked up his second win on the mound.

The Panthers (3-22, SIAC 0-6) remain in sixth place in the East Division and will host Miles College Saturday in a double-header at 12 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. All CAU HOME baseball games are played at Bill Evans Field.
