Box Score Rome, Ga.---The Clark Atlanta University Panthers dropped a 99-68 decision to non-conference opponent Shorter University on the road Saturday.

Off the bench, Dwayne Bingham led CAU with 21 points on 50 percent shooting (3-6)  from behind the arc and 11 rebounds followed by Jerrel Joye who added 16 points. Kevin James and James Arnold chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively. Five Hawks scored in double-digits led by Anthony Banks with 21.

With the loss, the Panthers dropped to 1-7 overall as they enter conference play Thursday, Jan. 3rd, at 8 p.m., in Epps Gymnasium against LeMoyne Owen College.
