Box Score St. Petersburg, Fla.---In the final day of the Eckerd College Men's Basketball Thanksgiving Classic, the Clark Atlanta University Panthers dropped a 72-70 decision to Eckerd on the Tritons' home court in St. Petersburg, Florida, Saturday night.

With a career-high 29 points, junior Jermille Fluker led all scorers on 8-of-18 shooting from the field and 10-of-13 at the charity stripe while Johnnel Young and Jerrel Joye added 14 and 11 points, respectively. As a team, the Panthers shot 71 percent from the free throw line, but only 35 percent from the floor. Eckerd outrebounded CAU 41 to 35 led by Malcolm Brunner with a game-high 10. To led the Tritons, Jerrick Stevenson chipped in 21 points followed by Brunner with 13.

With the loss, the Panthers remain winless in their first three games and will look to rebound on the road in a re-match with Georgia College and State Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m.
