Lady Panthers Win Second Consecutive Meet

Atlanta, GA –Markeisha Woodson led the charge for Clark Atlanta as the Lady Panthers won their third cross-country invitational of the season with a first place finish at Oglethorpe University Classic in Atlanta Saturday.

CAU topped a field of 13 colleges and universities led by Woodson who finished third overall. The Lady Panthers took first place with 39 points, followed by Covenant 66 points and Chattahoochee Tech 71 points.

The men’s team finished sixth in the 8K led by Juan Cartledge who finished in 11^th place overall.

Both teams will be in the action at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship hosted by Tuskegee University Friday, Oct. 21, as they vie for the conference title.
