Born Jaelyn Williams in Houston, Texas. She is the daughter of Laura Nilon and Edison Williams. She has 2 older sisters, Erika and Shaneil, and 2 older brothers, Kenan and Edison Jr. She graduated from Atascocita High School as a 3 year varsity player and played club for Asics Willowbrook. Jaelyn chose to attend CAU because she loved the illustrious and highly acclaimed environment and academics that it offered and was inspired by the atmosphere of the school, students, and Atlanta as a whole… her drive and love to compete in volleyball derives from the team/family dynamic, the rush from the intensity and competitiveness, and just perfecting the craft of volleyball.
