Dee Frazier enters his first season under the Alfred Jordan era at Clark Atlanta University. Frazier joins the Panthers coaching staff after coming off an excellent year as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Clinton College. Frazier guided Clinton to a 20-6 record, which included an EMAC Conference Championship and a #2 national ranking in the USCAA. Frazier guided star recruit Devin Campbell to a USCAA National Player of the Year Award & Cameron Shannon to an EMAC Player of the Year Award. While under Frazier’s guidance, the Golden Bears led the country in points per game, field goals made per game and field goal percentage, while being ranked top 5 in 17 statistical categories.
Before Clinton, Frazier was named the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Wiley College, a NAIA program in Marshall, TX. Frazier guided Taylan Grogan to All American Honors while finishing the season with a .500 percentage.
Frazier began his coaching career at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia as a student assistant coach under Mike Helfer, helping the team to a 26-6 record, a Gulf South regular-season title, a Top 25 ranking, and two appearances in the NCAA Division II tournament. From 2017-2019, he coached under Darrell Walker at Clark Atlanta University and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock as an assistant coach and video coordinator. Frazier earned his bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies at Valdosta State University in 2018.
