Otha Yarborough enters his third year as the quarterback coach for the Panthers this season. 

During his first season at CAU, quarterback Charles Stafford earned 2nd Team All-SIAC honors as he lead the conference in passing yards and touchdown passes. Stafford also finished second in total offense and passing yardage per game.

Prior to coming to CAU, Yarborough attended Georgia State University where he served as a student-assistant with the football program. His duties included recruiting, assisting the video staff, and helping in academics. At GSU, he observed and learned under two Sun Belt Conference coaching staffs. Yarborough was a support staff member during the first bowl appearances and bowl game victory in GSU program history.

Yarborough began his coaching career on the high school level in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. He also served as the offensive line coach at Georgia Prep Sports Academy in 2016.

Yarborough is from Newport News, Virginia, and a graduate of Warwick High School. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts from Georgia State University in African American Studies. He’s a member of the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches and currently resides in Atlanta.
