Leslie Nobles is the Tight Ends Coach/Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting for the Clark Atlanta University football program.  

Before coming to CAU, Nobles spent two seasons as the offensive coordinator at Murphy High School in Mobile, Ala.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the game to the Panthers' coaching staff.  

Previously, Nobles at the University of South Alabama where he worked with CAU Head Coach Tim Bowens as members of the South Alabama as offensive quality control coach.  During his time at USA, he helped develop two-time All Sun Belt Conference running back Xavier Johnson, who finished as the Jaguars' leading career rusher.   Prior to his time at South Alabama, Nobles spent two seasons at Fayetteville State University, working with wide receivers, including the Broncos' top pass catcher Chris Hubert.  During his stint at FSU, three receivers where in the CIAA's top 20 for receiving yards.  Nobles also coached running backs at FSU. 

Coach Nobles, a United States Army veteran and officer graduate from Alabama A&M University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Nobles also played wide recivers on the Alabama A&M football team.  Nobles, a native of Prichard, Ala., also earned a master's degree in Sports Management.  He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  He is marred to the former Joy Belle.  The couple has two children - a daughter (Lauryn) and a son (Leslie Jacob).
