Defensive Coordinator Darius Buck comes to Clark Atlanta University from Albany State University where he was assistant coach in charge of cornerbacks. He also coached punt return who finished No. 3 in the country in NCAA Division II football in blocked punts. 

Before going to Albany State in 2017, Buck spent two years at the University of South Alabama with current CAU head coach Tim Bowens as a defensive graduate assistant. He also earned his Master’s degree at South Alabama while he was a graduate assistant.

Buck is a native of Vicksburg, Miss., and played college football at Murray State University as a defensive back. He earned his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2012.
