Sanaa Simmons born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She is the daughter of Tawanna Simmons and Dale Simmons, sister to Landon Simmons and Da’ Ondalyn Simmons. Attended high school at Leon High School and attended club at Tallahassee Jrs Volleyball Club. 

Achievements 
Academic achievements consists of graduating Magna Cum Laude, scholar athlete all 4 years of high school, being apart of the National Honor Society, and being on the Principals Honor Roll.
Athletic achievements consists of qualifying for Nationals 17s and 18s year while placing 9th. Also being the Big Bend Stat Leader in Assists of 2020. Three-Year Varsity letter at Florida State University Schools and One-Year Varsity letter at Leon High School Senior year.
