Lady Panthers Win 10th Straight in 55-43 Road Win Over Benedict

Clark Atlanta continues to roll in conference play

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Atreonia Garner lit up the Benedict Tigers with a game-high 24 points, powering the Lady Panthers to a 55-43 victory on Monday evening. The win marks Clark Atlanta's 10th straight and improves its record to 22-5 overall and 15-3 in league play.

Garner registered a double-double, accounting for nearly half of Clark Atlanta's points with 24, along with 12 rebounds.

Benedict held an early 11-7 lead at the end of the first quarter before Clark Atlanta outscored the Tigers in each of the final three periods to secure the win. The Panthers set the tone early in the second half, holding Benedict to just nine points in the third quarter.
Clark Atlanta shot 33.3% from the field, 21.4% from 3-point range, and 62.1% from the free-throw line.

The Panthers forced 20 turnovers, converting them into 17 points, and outrebounded the Tigers 48-38. Clark Atlanta also held a slight edge in points in the paint, 28-24, while the bench contributed 16 points.

UP NEXT

The Lady Panthers close out the 2024-25 regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Allen University. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. inside John Hurst Adams Gymnasium.
