Ny'Mire Little leads the Panthers with 21 points

ATLANTA, Ga.  — The Clark Atlanta University men's basketball team used a strong rebounding effort and balanced scoring to secure an 81-76 victory over Spring Hill College in a heated SIAC matchup on Saturday afternoon inside L.S. Epps Gymnasium.

Ny'Mire Little paced the Panthers (10-4, 6-0 SIAC) with 21 points, including four 3-pointers, while Jalen Williams contributed 14 points and nine rebounds. Shemani Fuller added 18 points and nine boards, showcasing Clark Atlanta's strength in the paint.

Clark Atlanta (9-4, 6-0 SIAC) built a commanding 41-36 lead at halftime, using a relentless presence on the boards to dominate second-chance opportunities. The Panthers finished with 55 rebounds to Spring Hill's 37, grabbing 26 offensive boards that translated into 19 second-chance points.

Spring Hill (5-9, 3-5 SIAC) relied heavily on Walter Peggs Jr., who led all scorers with 24 points. The Badgers stayed within striking distance in the second half but couldn't overcome a late push from the Panthers.

Despite foul trouble, Dez'Mond Perkins chipped in 16 points for Clark Atlanta, including six clutch free throws down the stretch. Xavier Griffith and Martez Jones combined for 17 rebounds and played key roles in limiting Spring Hill's interior attack.
