ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clark Atlanta women's volleyball team returned home for their first match since October 4 to face the Benedict College Tigers on Tuesday evening. The Lady Panthers emerged victorious in a competitive four-set victory. With the win, Clark Atlanta improves to 9-9 overall (7-4 SIAC).

Shynique McGee led the offensive attack with a game-high 14 kills followed by Sawyer Arbuckle with 12 of her own for the Lady Panthers. Allanah Drayton-Campbell registered a game-high 43 assists to add to the offensive charge.

Benedict took the first set 25-21 to mount a 1-0 set lead over the Lady Panthers. McGee registered an ace and combined with Arbuckle for eight kills in the second frame to even the set score at 1-1 after winning set two 25-18.

Madison Spells registered a kill to put the Lady Panthers ahead 23-21 in the third set before Benedict committed a pair of attack errors to hand Clark Atlanta the third-set victory 25-22. The Lady Panthers remained dominant in the fourth set after holding the Tigers to just 17 points and securing the 3-1 win with a 25-17 victory in the final frame.

The Clark Atlanta women's volleyball team returns to action tomorrow, October 23, on the road at LaGrange College. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside Richter Gym.
