Lady Panthers Finish SIAC West Crossover 2-1

Clark Atlanta improves to 7-8

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Clark Atlanta women's volleyball team traveled to Memphis, Tennessee this weekend to compete in the SIAC West Crossover. The Lady Panthers finished the crossover 2-1 after defeating Central State, 3-1, falling to Kentucky State, 3-0, and finally sweeping the host LeMoyne Owen, 3-0, on Saturday. With the two wins, Clark Atlanta improves to 7-8 on the season and 5-3 in conference play

GAME ONE

The Lady Panthers opened the crossover with a matchup against the Central State Marauders which they took in a four-set victory (3-1). Shynique McGee led the offensive charge with a game-high 13 kills with an attacking percentage of .222 for the game. Allanah Drayton-Campbell led the Lady Panthers in assists with a game-high 20 assists. Defensively, Nakayla James scooped nine digs.

GAME TWO

The Lady Panthers fell to Kentucky State 3-0 in the second game of the crossover. A box score is currently not available.

GAME THREE

Clark Atlanta finished the west crossover with a 3-0 sweep over the host team LeMoyne Owen. Madison Spells led all scorers in kills with a game-high 11 on the day. Allanah Drayton Campbell registered a season-high in assists with 32 to help hoist the Lady Panthers to a win.

Clark Atlanta returns to action on Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. at Albany State University.
