Women's Basketball Announces 2023-24 Schedule

Lady Panthers Look to Capitalize on Successful 2022-23 Season

ATLANTA, Ga. – Coming off of a 16-win season which saw the Lady Panthers win the SIAC Eastern Division title, the Clark Atlanta women's basketball schedule is available as the team announces their 2023-24 campaign today (Sept. 26). 

The Lady Panthers will host 14 home contests with five of those being non-conference and nine in conference play. 

The season will open on Nov. 10 on the road against Florida Tech in Saint Leo, Florida followed by a matchup with Saint Leo University the next day on Nov. 11 as a part of the SSC/SIAC Tournament.

Clark Atlanta will then host the CAA/SIAC Challenge where they will take on Johnson C. Smith (Nov. 17) and Elizabeth City State on Nov. 18 inside Epps Gymnasium.

The Lady Panthers return to action just four days later, hosting Columbus State on Thanksgiving Eve, followed by a matchup with Miles College the day after Black Friday (Nov. 25).

CAU will then head to Morrow, Georgia to face Peach Belt Conference opponent Clayton State on Nov. 29 before heading south to face Spring Hill (Dec. 2) to open up the month of December.

To continue SIAC play on the road, the Lady Panthers will make the trip to Tuskegee, Alabama to take on the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee on Dec. 4.

Clark Atlanta will host a trio of home games before the winter break which includes Wilberforce (Dec. 9), Lane College (Dec. 16), and LeMoyne-Owen on Dec. 18 at Epps Gymnasium.

After a two-week break, the Lady Panthers will hit the road for the first time in the new year to face Central State (Jan. 4) before heading back south to take on Kentucky State (Jan. 6).

Clark Atlanta will then return to the friendly confines of Epps Gymnasium to host Benedict College on Jan. 13 followed by a matchup with Allen University (Jan. 15) just two days later.

The Lady Panther will then head east to the coast for a pair of conference contests against Edward Waters (Jan. 20) and Savannah State (Jan. 22). The non-conference slate will wrap up on Jan. 27 as Clark Atlanta hosts NAIA opponent Talladega College.

To close out the month of January, CAU welcomes SIAC foes Albany State (Jan. 29) and Fort Valley State (Jan. 31), only to turn back around to face Fort Valley State on the road on Feb. 3. 

The Lady Panthers will also head to Albany State for a rematch on Feb. 5. Clark Atlanta will close out the home slate against Savannah State (Feb. 10) followed by a Senior Night matchup against Edward Waters on Feb. 12. 

The 2023-24 regular season will conclude in the Palmetto State against Allen University (Feb. 24) and Benedict College (Feb. 26) before heading to the SIAC Championship Tournament on March 2 with the location to be determined at a later date.
