ATLANTA, Ga. – After a dominant showing at the SIAC Crossover this past weekend (Sept. 22-23), the Clark Atlanta women's volleyball team returns home for a doubleheader against Georgia College & State (GCSU) followed by a match against Talladega College (TC). First serve versus GCSU is slated for 4 p.m. followed by a 6 p.m. start time versus TC inside Epps Gymnasium.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Clark Atlanta will enter Tuesday's doubleheader with a 7-5 (5-2 SIAC) record after going 4-1 across five matches this past weekend at the SIAC Crossover Tournament in Albany, Georgia. The Panthers defeated Miles College, 3-1, fell to Spring Hill, 3-0, bounced back versus LeMoyne-Owen, 3-0, and finished the weekend with a 3-1 win over Lane College and a 3-2 win over Tuskegee.
Georgia College sits a 9-3 overall while Talladega College heads into Tuesday with a 15-6 record.
Tuesday's match will be the first meeting all-time between GCSU and CAU. On the other hand, this will be the 12th meeting between CAU and TC with CAU leading the series 9-3. Talladega won the last matchup almost two weeks ago as the Lady Panther fell to the Tornadoes 3-0 on the road.
CLARK ATLANTA BY THE NUMBERS
The Lady Panthers hold an attack percentage of. 127 heading into Tuesday's doubleheader with 424 kills on the season so far. They average 9.9 kills per set and nine assists per set through the first 12 contests.
Defensively, Clark Atlanta averages 1.7 blocks per set and 11.8 digs.
Shynique McGee (Atlanta, Ga.) leads the Lady Panthers in kills with 108 total across 43 sets played for the junior outside hitter. The Atlanta native also leads the team in services aces with 22 and second in digs with 96.
Allanah Drayton-Campbell (Duncanville, Texas) leads in assists with a team-high 168 helpers followed by Sanaa Simmons (Tallahassee, Fla.) with 154 in the first 12 matches.
On the defensive end, Dahlia Williams (Fairburn, Ga.) is 10th in conference with 30 blocks which also leads the Lady Panthers. Fellow freshman Nakayla James (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) leads Clark Atlanta in digs with 98 at the libero position.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Clark Atlanta Lady Panthers hit the road again on Saturday, September 30, as they head to Fort Valley, Georgia for the SIAC Tri-Match. The Lady Panthers are slated to face Kentucky State at 11 a.m. and Central State at 1 p.m. at Fort Valley State University.
