HOW IT HAPPENED
- Daniel Gay scored on a balk in the first inning to put the Panthers in front 1-0.
- Shorter tied the score at one apiece at the bottom of the first inning.
- Eason Bing singled to left field to bring Kentavious Veal in for the score to give CAU a 2-1 advantage.
- Bing stole home plate to extend the lead to 3-1 at the top of the third.
- The Hawks scored six unanswered runs to take a 7-3 lead in the eighth inning.
- Daniel gay scored on a passed ball in the ninth but the Panthers couldn't mount a comeback and fell 7-4 to Shorter.
