Williams Throws for Season-High 226 Yards, Panthers Fall to Allen

Strong fight from the Panthers not enough as Yellow Jackets emerge victorious

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Heath Williams Jr. (Clarksville, Tenn.) threw for a season-high 226 yards on 11-for-19 attempts and one touchdown, but the Clark Atlanta University Panthers (0-6, 0-5 SIAC) fell to Allen University (5-1, 3-1 SIAC) 34-27 on Saturday night at Westwood High School.

Devion Newson (Decatur, Ga.) registered an outstanding season-high 124 receiving yards with five catches and one touchdown on the night. 

Junior running back Daquon Kincey (Abbeville, Ala.) rushed for 119 yards on 15 attempts and one touchdown for the Panthers. 

On the defensive end, Timothy Jones (Douglasville, Ga.) led the Panthers in total tackles with six on the night. 

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Clark Atlanta returns to action next Saturday (Oct. 14) on the road as they face Shorter University in a non-conference matchup in Rome, Ga. at 12 p.m. inside Ben Brady Field.
