ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clark Atlanta women's volleyball (10-7,7-3 SIAC) returns to action this weekend as they host Allen University (8-8,3-7 SIAC) and Benedict College (11-4,8-4 SIAC) on Saturday, October 7, inside Epps Gymnasium. The Lady Panthers will face Allen at 1 p.m. with Benedict to follow at 4 p.m.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Saturday's matchup will be the fifth meeting dating back to 2021 between the Clark Atlanta and Allen with CAU leading the series 3-1. Following the Allen match, CAU will face Benedict for the 28th time in a series where the Lady Panthers lead 15-12 dating back to 2011.

The Lady Panthers head into Saturday wielding an attack percentage of .151 with 644 total kills through 17 matches. Clark Atlanta averages 10.4 kills per set compared to 9.9/set from their opponents while also averaging more assists per set than opponents with a 9.4-8.8 margin.
Reigning SIAC Offensive Player of the Week Shynique McGee (Atlanta, Ga.) leads the Lady Panthers in attack percentage (.251) and kills (186) through 17 games. Junior right-side hitter Makayla Murphy (Detroit, Mich.) ranks second in attack percentage with an average of .210.
Defensively, sophomore middle-blocker Madison Spells (Dickinson, Texas) leads the Lady Panthers in blocks with 39 total. Freshman libero Nakayla James (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) averages 2.52 digs/set which is good for first on the team.
