Despite having three Lady Panthers who scored in double figures, the Clark Atlanta Lady Panthers fell to the fourteenth-ranked team in the country, Lee University 92-66 in Cleveland, Tenn., Saturday.
After leading by 15 at halftime, Lee (4-0) hit 10-12 shots in the third quarter to pull away and take control of the game.
Reyana Miller's 3-pointer midway through the third quarter got the lead back under 18 at 50-32. But Lee outscored Clark Atlanta (1-3) 18-9 the rest of the quarter to regain control of the game.
Lee dominated in the paint where they outscored CAU 56-20. They also outrebounded the Lady Panthers 48-30, particularly on the defensive boards where they had 33 rebounds to CAU's 18.
Clark Atlanta was led by Miller who had 15 points, including three 3-pointers. She also had four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Autum Morings had 13 points, a game-high seven rebounds, one block, one assist and one steal.
Reagan Jackson added 12 points, three assists and two steals.
Briana McGee had seven points and five rebounds, a block and a steal.
Lee was led by Haley Schubert's 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, while Abby Bertram had 13 points. Lindsey Roddy had 12 points.
The Lady Panthers are off until next Saturday when they visit Augusta University. That game tips off at 1:30 p.m. in Augusta, Ga.
