It's Senior Night tonight when the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers host Benedict College at 6:30 p.m. in L.S. Epps Gymnasium.

Seniors Ashley Elmore and Taylor Prude will be honored prior to the beginning of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference East Division matchup.

Benedict (15-10, 7-6 SIAC) sits in second place in the SIAC East, having won their last four matches. They are in a fight with Paine for second place in the East Division with identical 7-6 conference records. Both sit behind Albany State which has a 12-3 SIAC record.

Benedict is led by V'Aira Harris, who leads the SIAC in services aces per game, and Adrionna Washington, who is third in the conference in kills with 314.

The Lady Panthers (4-12, 3-10 SIAC) have lost their last five matches, most recently Monday to Albany State.  CAU hasn't played Benedict this season, with another match against the Tigers a week from today.

Kia Thomas leads the Lady Panthers in kills this season with 130, while Prude is second with 129 and Elmore is fourth with 110.  Lauryn Terry has 112 kills for CAU this season.

The Lady Panthers close out their home portion of the 2019 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5 when they host Fort Valley State at 6 p.m.
