Tonight at 6 p.m., the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers volleyball team play their first home game in more than a month when they host Paine College in L.S. Epps Gymnasium. Admission is free of charge.
The last time the Lady Panthers played at home this season was in their season-opening victory over Talladega on Sept. 6. Their next game against Claflin was postponed.
After a slow start to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season, the Lady Panthers (4-7, 3-6 SIAC) have won their last two games, defeating Miles and Fort Valley State. CAU is third in the SIAC East, just a game outside of second place.
Just behind them is Paine who started out fast, winning their first seven games of the season. The Lions are now 7-3, 2-3 in the SIAC.
It's the first of two consecutive home games for the Lady Panthers as CAU hosts Savannah State, Tuesday at 7 p.m.
