The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers volleyball team travels to South Carolina tonight to take on Benedict College at 6 p.m.
The game had been scheduled as a home game at Clark Atlanta tonight, but the teams agreed to switch home games. Benedict will host tonight's game while CAU will host their next match on Friday, Nov. 2.
The Lady Panthers (7-7, 7-3 SIAC) are in first place in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's East Division, a game ahead of Albany State.  CAU is the only team without a loss in the East Division.Â
Benedict (11-8, 5-4 SIAC) only has one loss in the East Division. With a win over CAU, Benedict would take over second place and be only a half-game behind first-place CAU.
But the Lady Panthers have won four in a row and haven't dropped a set since a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Kentucky State on Sept. 28 during the SIAC Crossover.
Kia Thomas leads the Lady Panthers in kill percentage and ranks seventh among everyone in the SIAC.Â
Sierra Nelson ranks third in the conference in assists with 8.74 per game.
