ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball forced Central State into 20 turnovers in an 88-75 home win that saw the Panthers post season-high marks for assists (18) and steals (15) while equaling the win total from a season ago.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half | Clark Atlanta received a season-high 11 points from
Micquel Roseman, including five in-a-row during a 11-0 run midway through the half to pull CAU within one point of Central State, 26-25. After a FT from CSU, Clark Atlanta unleashed another run, this time 8-0, to take the lead with the run begining with transition baskets from
Tajai Johnson and
Chuka Eneh before Roseman ended the run with the last four points.
Tim Sanders added a pair of late 3-pointers as Clark Atlanta led at the intermission, 41-33.
Second Half | The second half began as
Lawrance Triplett scored 4-of-6 Panther points to open up a 14-point lead, 47-33. Central State would pull within 10 points, 59-49, with 10:38 remaining before an 11-3 run returned the Panther advantage to 19 points, 73-54.
TEAM NUMBERS:
Clark Atlanta shot 30-for-64 (46.9 percent) from the floor and 17-for-20 (85 percent) from the FT line. The Panthers also were good on 11-of-27 attempts from 3-point range.
Clark Atlanta held advantages in fast break scoring, 28-6, points in the paint, 26-20, bench scoring, 47-38, and points off turnovers, 21-19. CAU forced the Marauders into 20 turnovers.
INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS:
Roseman, who entered the game with five points in his career, led the Panthers with 17 points of 5-of-6 shooting (3-for-3 from behind the arc).
Derek Harper scored 16 points and was joined in double-digit scoring by Sanders (13) and Triplett (12).
Triplet tied for the game-high with 11 rebounds giving the senior his fourth double-double of the season. Johnson led the Panthers with five assists while Sanders registered four steals.
