Dashawn Blow and
Johnathon McCrary rank No. 8 and No. 9 in passing Yards/G. Blow averages 101 YPG while McCrary is just behind at 99 YPG. McCrary ranks seventh (100.6) and Blow (91.7) ranks tenth among SIAC quarterbacks in passing efficiency.
Trenton Earl is third in the SIAC in receiving Yards/G averaging 70.0 YPG. The senior wide receiver has eight receptions for 210 yards and one score. Earl ranks No. 9 nationally - second in SIAC - averaging 26.25 Yards/Reception.
CAU has three of the top-5 tacklers in the conference.
Jaquatin Victrum leads the SIAC with 35 tackles (11.7/G) while
Jacob Mitchell is fourth with 32 stops in his senior season (10.7/G). Joining the duo is
Marquise Parker who has tallied 28 tackles (9.3/G) including 13 against Central State. Victrum has recorded double-digit tackles in back-to-back games (15 v. Central State & 12 at Ft. Valley State) while Mitchell registered 17 stops last week at FVSU.
Clark Atlanta special teams has the punting unit ranked No. 2 in the SIAC averaging 36.4 Net Yards/Punt. CAU has punted 14 times for 529 yards (37.8 Yards/Punt) and has allowed just 19 return yards. The effort from
Ty Woods has resulted in one SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the freshman.
The Panthers are the most penalized team in the SIAC through three games having been called for 49 penalties resulting in 538 yards (179.3 Yards/G).
The Panther offense sits third in the SIAC averaging 347.7 Yards/G. CAU has ran 193 plays for 1,043 yards (5.4/Play).
