ROME, Ga. - In the second meet of the 2016 season, Victor Ice Breaker Duals from Berry College, Clark Atlanta saw the women finish second overall and the men finish ninth with five overall event victories.
HOW IT HAPPENED (WOMEN'S MEET):D'Yanna McCaskill (1:09.67) and
Tia Reid (1:14.60) took first and third place finishes in the 400 Hurdles.
Shahara Mitchell (39'6") bested teammate
Emani Jones (35'2") as the duo placed first and second in the Shot Put.
McCaskill later scored victories as a member of both the 4x100 Relay (50.25) and 4x400 Relay (4:08.21) - joined by
Breanna Hopkins,
Ashley Younger,
Cynthia Smith on both teams.
