JASPER, Ala. - Clark Atlanta softball struggled through the seven game schedule from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover losing six-of-seven games along the way.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1:Clark Atlanta scored twice in the top of the first inning with
Jessica Vason scoring on a single from
Sharnitra Woods before Woods scored on the RBI single from
Tenicia Winston.

KSU tied the game with two on the first.
Â
CAU added two more in the third inning with Winston delivering the two-RBI single to right center scoring Vason and
Sharnitra Woods.
Â
Kentucky State added two more in the home half of the inning to tie the game. In the sixth inning KSP scored three times to secure the lead.

Clark Atlanta added one lone run in the seventh on a solo homerun from Vason with one out.

Ajada Cofield pitched the six-inning complete game with just two earned runs allowed on five hits and two strikeouts.
Sharnitra Woods went 4-for-4 in the game with two players adding two hits each.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2:The second game of Day One saw
Kendall Washington last just four batters at pitcher - without recording an out - Â before being removed for Cofield. Cofield pitched seven innings and gave up six runs on seven hits with just one run counting as earned.

After CAU scored five times in the first inning, CAU scored twice in the home half inning.
Ashley Nelson scored on the RBI single from
Sharnitra Woods. Vason scored with
Tamera Green reaching base on an error by the Miles defense.

Clark Atlanta fought back to tie the game with one run in the third and twice in the fourth with runs scored by Zhandria User, Washington, and
Ashley Nelson.

Miles claimed the victory with five runs on three hits - aided by 1 Panther error - in the top of the sixth before Clark Atlanta was retired in the sixth and seventh inning without scoring.

Sharnitra Woods had three hits with three other batters tallying two hits apiece.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 3:Shalonda Woods took the loss to Tuskegee as the Tigerettes threw the a perfect game.

Clark Atlanta failed to get a base runner on as the TU offense tallied 13 hits in an 18-0 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 4:Vason made her first pitching appearance, tossing a three-hit complete game while adding a first inning 2-run homerun.Â

CAU scored 13 runs in the first inning on six hits.

For the game, Vason went 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs scored and five RBI. Vason struck out two and walked three batters over five innings.

Ashley Nelson, User, Green, and
Ingrid Sims added multiple hit performances from the plate.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 5:Stillman scored 10 runs in the game with only the first run being earned. SC scored six times in the first three innings before CAU got on the scoreboard in the home third inning.

Asia Nelson singled to start the inning, Winston reached on an error, and the bases loaded as Vason singled through the left side.
Sharnitra Woods stepped up with two outs and connected with a grand slam to left field to pull Clark Atlanta within two runs.

Stillman added four more runs - all unearned - in the fifth inning.
Â
Cofield singled through the left side with one out for her first collegiate hit and later scored the final run of the game for the Panthers on a Winston RBI single up the middle.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 6:In a high scoring game on Saturday, Clark Atlanta tallied 16 hits in an 19-11 loss to Lane.

Clark Atlanta scored runs in the first four innings and took the lead in the top of the third inning, scoring four times, 9-8.
Â
Lane took advantage of four CAU errors in the home half of the inning to score nine times on just six hits to take the lead for good.

Sharnitra Woods went 3-for-4 at the plate while Winston,
Ashley Nelson, User, and Sims each had two hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 7:Clark Atlanta lost the SIAC Crossover finale to Spring Hill after being one-hit by the Badgers, 17-0.

Shalonda Woods led off the second inning with a single to right field for the lone hit for the Panthers.
Â
Washington pitched the complete game giving up 11 hits in the effort.

Sharnitra Woods hit .684 during the seven-game event with 13 hits in 19 at bats, including a pair of homeruns and 15 RBI. Woods also went 2-for-2 in stolen bases.

CAU pitchers tossed four complete games but had a cumulative 6.26 ERA over 38 innings

The Clark Atlanta offence tallied 64 hits compared to 69 for the opposition, but 28 errors cost the Panther defense allowing 48 unearned runs to cross the plate.
