HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1:Clark Atlanta surrenders three runs in each of the first two innings.
Clark Atlanta got on the scoreboard in the third inning after
Kendall Washington walked and was on bas for a two-out two-run homerun to left centerfield.
Anderson plated four more runs in the home third ahead of scoreless fourth and fifth innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2:CAU gave up three runs in the first inning before scoring twice in the second and three times in the third to take the lead.
Zhandria Usher scored on the RBI single by
Veranae Woods . Two batters later saw
Sharnitra Woods score from third base on the RBI single to right field.
In the third inning, Vason homered to centerfield with one out ahead of a homerun from
Sharnitra Woods with
Ingrid Sims on base.
Anderson fought back with a run in the fourth and fifth innings to tie the game before a three-run sixth provided the final scoring.

Washington (0-2) and
Ajada Cofield (0-4) took the losses as the pitchers of record. Washington lasted 2.1 innings in the opener allowing 10 runs - nine earned - on nine hits with four walks. Cofield tossed six innings for the complete game with eight runs allowed - six earned - on 14 hits and four strikeouts.
Sharnitra Woods (2-for-3),
Veranae Woods (2-for-4), and Vason (2-for-6) were the only Panthers with multiple hits.
Vason tallied a team-best three RBI and eight total bases in the two games.
