ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball were undone in the second half by Claflin as the home team scored 23 more points after the intermission than the visitors; 94-70.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Damien Enoch tied the game, 2-2, with a jumper after less than 90 seconds had been played. CAU took the lead with a 3-pointer from
Chuka Eneh, 5-2, with 17:36 to play in the first half.
Lawrance Freeman gave CAU the lead after converting the three-point play with a layup and FT with 12:22 left in the half; 11-9.
Derek Harper put CAU back in the lead, 15-13, with 9:56 left to play before the break. The lead would remain with CAU until 5:50 left in the half and the lead would flip-flop between the teams.
With Claflin leading by five, 33-28, Enoch scored on a dunk on the assist from
James Arnold. Claflin added a FT before
Tim Sanders knocked down a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end the half; 34-33.
Claflin opened up a six-point lead on the heels of a 9-4 run, 43-37, with 15:20 left in the game.
Clark Atlanta cut the lead to as few as four, 49-45, before the home team was able to extend the lead to as many as 29 points near the games end.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta shot 40.7 percent (24-for-59) while going just 18-for-32 from the FT line.
CAU forced 12 turnovers and converted those opportunities into nine points.
Clark Atlanta led in second chance scoring, 10-5, but trailed in bench scoring, 47-9, points in the paint, 48-24, and points off turnovers, 27-9.
Clark Atlanta receive game-high scoring from Enoch (27) and Freeman (17). The duo outscored all Claflin scorers and were the only CAU players to reach double-digits.
Enoch had a team-high six rebounds with Freeman adding three assists for the team-high.
UP NEXT:Clark Atlanta wrapped up the regular season and now will await final seeding for the SIAC Championship to be played in Birmingham, Ala.
