ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball made it back-to-back victories in the L.S. Epps Memorial Basketball Challenge with the 91-76 victory of Livingstone College. CAU scored a season-high in point while forcing 17 turnovers.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half | Clark Atlanta scored the opening point as
Lawrance Triplett was 1-of-2 from the FT line. The Panthers would eventually trail, 14-3, after a Blue Bear 9-0 run. With 10.25 left in the first half
Derek Harper capped an 8-0 run with a 3-pointer to give CAU the lead, 20-19. After swapping the lead with Livingstone
Chuka Eneh put CAU ahead with back-to-back 3-pointers before
Tajai Johnson hit a 3 of his own to cap a 9-0 run with 4:41 left that moved the Panthers to lead for good, 32-26. The Panthers led at the intermission 44-35.
Second Half | The second half opened with Triplett hitting a jumper and connecting on the following FT to complete the three-point play. LC cut the lead as close as four points, 68-64, before a 15-3 CAU run pushed the advantage back into double digits with 4:07 remaining.
TEAM NUMBERS:
Clark Atlanta shot 31-for-62 from the floor (50 percent) while also going 17-for-23 (73.9 percent) from the FT line. Clark Atlanta connected on 12-of-25 attempts from behind the 3-point line.

Clark Atlanta led in points off turnovers, 18-7, and fast break scoring, 16-8. CAU forced LC into 17 turnovers while committing just nine - the lowest this season.

The Panthers led the game for 28:58 (72.4 percent) and led by as many as 16 points.
INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS:
Five Panthers reached double-digits in points as Harper scored a game-high 20 points from the bench by shooting 6-for-11 from the floor with four 3-pointers made and also going 4-for-4 from the FT line.

Tim Sanders (18), Johnson (16), Triplett (16), and
Anthony Williams (10) all scored double-digits from the game starters.

Williams dished a game-high eight assists while Sanders registered five steals to lead all players.

Triplett led the Panthers with eight rebounds

CAU takes a break for Christmas and will return to the court on New Year's Eve from Jackson, Tenn. at Lane College before heading to LeMoyne-Owen on Jan. 2. The Panthers will return to L.S. Epps Gymnasium on Jan. 5 versus Central State.
