Demorest, GA - Clark Atlanta women's volleyball ended their back-to-back winning streak Wednesday night losing to Piedmont College in a 3-1 game.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After successfully winning the opening set 25-18, with 3 kills from both
Sierra Scoggins and
Tierra Ford. The Panthers lost the lead early in the second set and Piedmont indefinitely took control.
In the third set
Kiara Govan scored the first kill tying the set, 1-1. The Panthers however never obtained a lead against Piedmont College in this set.
The final set saw the Panthers take the lead 7-6 against Piedmont with a kill from
Taylor Prude. The Panthers took the lead again at 17-15 and later tied at 17-17. Piedmont College ultimately responded with 4 final points bringing the set to 19-25.
THE NUMBERS:
Piedmont held the match advantage in hitting percentage, .179 - .085; kills, 50-37; and digs, 57-56.
Prude again had double-digit kills (12) and also 25 digs.
Govan ended the match with 31 assist and five digs to go with a pair of aces.
Scoggins ended the night with 11 kills and now has 190 in her senior season and 960 in her time at Clark Atlanta.

The Panthers are headed to play Emmanuel College and North Greenville in Tigersville, S.C. on Oct. 22 with the matches set for 3 and 5 p.m.
