ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta women's basketball got a boost from
Kiyanna Johnson off the bench to defeat the visiting Lady Tigers of Stillman College; 86-66. Johnson had gone scoreless in three-consecutive games before scoring 26 points in 25 minutes off the bench.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Stillman scored the first points of the game, after 1:36 of scoreless play to begin the game, before
Mykala Jones connected on a jumper off the
Brandie Robertson assist.
With 7:52 to play in the first quarter Stillman retook the lead. Jones responded with a 3-pointer for the first Clark Atlanta advantage, 5-4.
Stillman would tie the game from the FT line one last time before
Siera Bubb was good on a jumper, 7-5, with 6:50 left to play in the first quarter. CAU would lead for the remainder of the game, leading for 94 percent of the night.
Bubb scored six in-a-row to move the home lead to 12-5.
Kiyanna Johnson added her first 3-pointer of the game, 15-5, with 3:42 to play in the first quarter to cap a 10-0 run. Johnson added another late 3-pointer in the quarter to end the scoring, 20-9, after the first 10 minutes.
Whitney Collins added back-to-back jumpers for Clark Atlanta before Johnson capped a 6-0 run, 26-11, in the second quarter.
The halftime lead for Clark Atlanta was 37-28 after Stillman used 7-0 and 4-0 runs to draw close in the second quarter.
A trio of runs in the third quarter; 5-0, 6-0, and 8-0, gave CAU a 23-point advantage late, 58-35.
Collins added a layup at the buzzer to end the third quarter with Clark Atlanta leading 62-42.
Johnson opened the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer and a pair from the FT line to push the lead to 25 points, 67-42, with 9:46 left in the game.
The largest lead of the night was tallied when Bubb made a layup with 5:35 to play for a 28-point lead, 83-55.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta shot 51.7 percent from the floor (31-for-60) and went 7-for-14 from 3-point range. CAU also shot 60.7 percent (17-for-28) from the FT line.
Stillman converted 14 turnovers that Clark Atlanta was able to convert into 13 points.
The Panthers held advantages in second chance points, 17-15, bench scoring, 33-17. The Lady Tigers edged Clark Atlanta in points in the paint, 14-10, and fast break scoring, 6-4.
Bubb and Collins each registered double-doubles. Bubb scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds while Collins had 11 points and 10 rebounds for a season-high.
Johnson shot 8-for-12 from the floor, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range, as part of a 26-point effort off the bench. She also went 5-for-6 from the FT line.
Jones reached double-digits with 13 points and dished out a game-high seven assists.
