MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Playing for the second time in ten days, Clark Atlanta was defeated on the road in women's basketball by Georgia College; 77-57. On Nov. 23 these two squads squared off from Epps Gymnasium with the Bobcats claiming the 74-67 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Clark Atlanta fell into a 10-0 deficit to start the game before
Mykala Jones broke the shutout with a layup at the 6:26 mark in the first quarter.
Siera Bubb added a jumper on the next possession to cut the whole to 10-4.
Nekia Sockwell added a jumper for a 6-0 CAU run to cut the GC lead to four, 10-6, with 5:23 left in quarter one.
Georgia College halted the run with a jumper before Bubb added a 3-pointer, her first of the season, drawing within three, 12-9.
GC took control with a 7-0 run before a
Kiyanna Johnson basket and Jones FT's brought the Panthers back, 19-13. The Bobcats scored the final two baskets of the opening quarter for the 23-13 lead.
Whitney Collins scored the first points of the second quarter before a pair of FT attempts from
Sydni Davis were good, bringing Clark Atlanta within six points; 23-17.
Davis and Collins would score the next five baskets for CAU. The Panthers trailed 30-27 with 5:10 left before halftime.
Gia Banks closed the half with a pair of made FT attempts sending the teams to the locker room with GC holding the 42-29 advantage.
The third quarter started with GC making a 3-pointer before Jones responded with a 3 of her own,45-32, with 9:21 left.
The home team would extend the lead to 20 points, 63-43, with 1:49 remaining in the third quarter. Davis added a layup and Banks added two more free throws before GC added a buzzer-beating jumper to end the quarter leading 65-47.
Jones scored the opening points of the fourth quarter with a jumper and added a layup a minute later to cut the lead to 66-51 with 8:11 left in the game.
GC ended the game outscoring CAU 12-10 in the final quarter of play.
THE NUMBERS:Jones (16) was the high scored for Clark Atlanta, having done so in all seven games played.
Davis (15) was the only other CAU player to reach double-digits in points.
Bubb recorded a game0high 10 rebounds for her third double-digit rebounds game of the season.
CAU was outshot, 48.3-33.9 percent from the floor. GC used a 7-2 advantage in made 3-pointers to extend advantages.
Both team shot very well from the free throw line, with CAU going 15-for-19 (78.9 percent) and GC shooting 14-for-16 (87.5 percent).
Clark Atlanta turned 20 Georgia College turnovers into 11 points.
The CAU bench contributed 10 points on the night.
